With the BKK MedPlus program, we offer chronically ill insured persons qualified treatment programs specially tailored to the respective clinical picture. These so-called disease management programs (DMPs) were developed by doctors and scientists to guarantee improved and comprehensive medical care.

Enrollment is voluntary and at no additional cost to you. With BKK MedPlus, BKK EWE policyholders receive the optimal therapy - completely individual and adapted to their current state of health.

Within the framework of the structured treatment programs (DMP)
With the structured treatment program BKK MedPlus, BKK EWE focuses on quality. These so-called disease management programs (DMPs) improve the quality of patient care through scientific guidelines, careful documentation, reminder systems for doctors and patients, training courses on the advice of the doctor, and intensive care for particularly affected patients.
In addition to the statutory standards, BKK EWE offers a special support concept for the implementation of DMP programs. The quality assurance measures include, in particular, measures with reminder and feedback functions as well as measures to promote active participation and patient initiative. Through these measures, BKK EWE ensures comprehensive and qualified care for chronically ill patients.
