On 01.01.2024, BKK EWE will provide all insured persons with a digital identity for the healthcare system in the form of a health ID. This will make it easier for you to access apps such as the electronic patient file (ePA) or the e-prescription in future.

You decide which registration option you would like to use.
For security reasons, the Health ID must be confirmed regularly (after six months at the latest) with your eGK and PIN or with the online ID function of your ID card. You will be prompted to do so in the ePA app at the appropriate time.
Together with our IT partner Bitmarck, we have developed videos on the various possible constellations. These briefly explain exactly how the individual processes work.
