Skin screening
We attach great importance to preventive care
Patients over the age of 35 are legally entitled to a skin screening every two years. We attach particular importance to prevention and therefore also cover the costs of up to €40.00 for classic skin screening (dermatological examination) in the year for which you are not legally entitled to skin screening - regardless of age for all our insured persons.
Please note
The cost coverage of €40.00 applies exclusively to the classic skin screening and not to the additional individual health services (IGel), e.g. the storage of video recordings of the skin or the use of artificial intelligence as part of the skin screening.
Skin cancer screening PLUS
We have also joined the Skin Cancer Screening PLUS contract, where we cover the costs of using digital photo documentation in conjunction with artificial intelligence to optimize conventional procedures in the area of skin cancer screening for all medical contract partners of Gesundheitsverbund Nord. Please contact your family doctor's or dermatologist's practice.
