Deformed baby head - what to do?
In the case of more severe deformities, so-called helmet therapy has proven effective in steering growth in the desired direction. For our young insured up to the age of 15 months, we cover the costs of treatment by means of head orthoses.
Prerequisite cost absorption
We will cover the costs in the following cases:
- The indication and prescription was made by an orthopedic specialist and
- there is medical confirmation that conventional therapy is not possible or not promising, or
- follow-up treatments are to be expected without treatment by means of head orthoses.
