Dental treatment and orthodontics

All insured persons who require dental services, such as consultations, filling therapies and the like, receive the contractual dental treatments free of charge. Billing is done via the health card. In addition, costs for contractual dental splint therapy and periodontal treatments are covered. Furthermore, the costs of dental and jaw malpositions (orthodontics) are covered if the legal requirements are met. Orthodontic treatment by a contracted dentist is applied for in advance by means of a corresponding treatment plan.
