Dentures
For healthy dental function
Dentures are needed when the functionality of the masticatory system is impaired or at risk of being impaired. There are fixed and removable dentures. Fixed dentures include crowns and bridges, while removable dentures include various prostheses.
Fixed allowances and beyond
Fixed allowances are granted for dental prostheses. The evidence of the dental check-ups (dental health check-up) is taken into account for this purpose. If no proof of dental check-ups can be provided, we will pay the basic allowance for your dental prosthesis. If the dates of the dental health examinations are documented in the dental bonus booklet, we will grant an increased fixed allowance for dental prostheses if proof of continuous examinations has been provided for 5 or 10 years. In cases of financial hardship, we can cover all or part of the remaining co-payment - after submission of an application.
The planned dental prosthesis treatment is requested from us prior to the start of treatment by means of a corresponding treatment and cost plan in conjunction with the bonus certificate.
