Dental health checkups
Prevent dental and oral diseases
Dental health examinations support you in preventing dental and oral diseases. If the preventive examinations are documented by the dentist in the dental bonus booklet, the allowances increase in the event of a necessary dental prosthesis.
Documentation for increased grants
- For children from the age of 6 and adolescents, a calendar half-yearly examination is required and must be documented in the dental bonus booklet from the age of 12.
- Adults, 18 years of age and older, are required to have a calendar yearly physical exam documented.
- Denture wearers should visit the dentist 1x per calendar year for an oral health check-up and have it documented.
